The Facilities Coordinator is responsible for campus facilities during after school and weekend events and assists with basic maintenance duties.

This position includes a competitive salary based on skills and experience; a full benefits package with medical, dental, vision, and 403B retirement plan; paid vacation; and tuition assistance for qualifying children. This position reports to the Director of Finance and Facilities. This is a full time, exempt position working approximately 30 hours per week with flexibility needed depending on activity schedules. Normal hours are 3:00 – 9:00pm during regular school days and some flexibility for required weekend hours.

St. John Vianney High School is a private, all-male college preparatory school in the Catholic, Marianist tradition. Located on 37-acres in Kirkwood, Missouri, Vianney serves over 560 young men in grades 9-12. Starting pay for this position is $32,500 - $37,500.

Duties include:

  • Greet and assists guests attending events; Help ensure security during and after events
  • Oversee campus and facilities needs during after school activities and events on campus
  • Work with Athletic Director and Events Manager during events to open facilities, turn on lights, turn on score board and sound systems, troubleshooting, manage trash cans, clean up after event
  • Open concession stand, make sure volunteer support is in place and lead volunteers with setup, serving, and clean up
  • Assist maintenance team with daily duties for trash cans, keeping the campus neat and clean, monitoring restroom supplies, and other duties
  • Lock and secure all buildings and turn off lights at the end of the day

The ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Some basic knowledge of building security
  • Ability to use tools and climb ladders
  • Basic maintenance and troubleshooting experience
  • Availability to work evenings and some weekends
  • Ability to patrol campus and handle concerns
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds, bending, squatting, reaching, and standing for extended periods of time
